Dr. Barbara J. Flore
The goal of the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Testing is to provide leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of the entire instructional program, PK-12 curriculum, and assessment services. The Office of Curriculum is dedicated to supporting our schools in providing high quality curriculum and instruction designed to ensure all students are college and career ready. A focus on college and career readiness permeates curriculum and instruction from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and within all the content areas.
As the director of curriculum, Dr. Barbara J. Flore assists in the philosophy, objectives, and vision for outcomes for the instructional program by designing a professional learning program based on staff needs. Offering an abundance of opportunities for our educators to expand their knowledge is important for increased student learning.
Dr. Flore has extensive education and experience as a teacher, mentor, student services coordinator, community college adjunct professor, child care director, 21st Century Project Director, and principal.
